Meet Dr. Anderson

Dr. Anderson describes herself as a "Jack of Many Trades." She graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine with a passion for general small animal medicine and alternative medicine. She completed courses in Acupuncture, Tuina, and Palliative Care through the Chi University. Shortly after those achievements her beloved heart dog, Alba, was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer by ultrasonography.

This inspired a passion project for Dr. Anderson to become proficient in ultrasound with the goal of making it more available to the pets and families that need it. She went on to complete nearly a year of immersive training through WAVE in Dallas, TX and achieved certificates of proficiency for both soft tissue and echocardiography. Her ultimate goal is to help make both ultrasonography and alternative medicine more readily available outside of a specialty setting and available in more places.
